Work Study Program

Each semester, there are a limited number of part-time work opportunities available on campus, usually on our custodial, maintenance, or cafeteria teams.

Student-workers generally earn minimum wage. In the event that the student is unable to obtain gainful employment off-campus, you may apply for this program.

Further information is given once the student has been formally accepted to PBC.

For more information regarding International Applicants seeking employment can be found HERE.

MFI Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for any NEW applicants referred to us by their MFI lead pastor.

Private Grants & Scholarships

Private grants, loans, and scholarships that do not require federal participation are generally accepted by PBC. It is up to each individual student to determine his/her qualification and application for the scholarship.

The student needs to inform the Finance Office or Registrar if there are any requirements on the school’s part in order to obtain the funds.

PBC is not a participating school in the Federal Financial Aid system and therefore is generally not eligible for most federal aid including FAFSA grants and loans.

Veterans Tuition Benefits

Most of our Live programs are approved for Veteran Affairs (VA) educational benefits. Our Online programs are not eligible for VA benefits. If you are an eligible veteran or dependent, contact the Registrar before registration so that your enrollment can be certified by the VA. Click HERE to find out more.

Microloans

In the event that a student finds it difficult to make a monthly payment, we offer a small “loan” of up to $500.00 per term. This is exclusively available for students who have a proven track record both financially and academically. In effect, this microloan postpones the amount requested, for future payment to the end of the semester.

There is a nominal administrative set-up cost of $1 for every $20 borrowed (maximum of $25); however, there is no accrued interest. This is an internal “loan” with PBC.
