Domestic Payment Methods:

PBC is happy to be able to utilize several different methods of payment to better be able to accommodate our diverse student body.

e-Check (preferred method)

This is the preferred method of payment as it is both secure and has no extra charge.

To make an e-Check payment, you will need your bank’s routing number and your account number in order to make a secure payment online using our student information system, Populi.

If for any reason your check cannot be processed due to insufficient funds or unable to locate account a $20 charge will be added to your account. To avoid this fee, please make sure that you enter the address that matches your account and double-check that your bank information is entered correctly before processing payment.


You can mail or bring in a check. Make your checks payable to Portland Bible College and mail them to:

Please include the student’s name and/or student ID number (which can be found in Populi).


If you prefer to pay in cash, there are special cash envelopes available for you in the Administration Building. There you can fill one out and deposit the money in the safe box. Payments received in the safe box are processed by a limited number of staff members and the safe box is emptied on a regular basis.

Credit/Debit Cards

You can make a payment with a credit or debit card in our student information system, Populi. Please be aware that every card transaction has a 3% convenience fee.

Online Bill Pay

Most banks provide a way to pay bills online through their online banking portals. You simply set PBC up as one of your “bills” by providing the information below, and click to send us a payment. Your bank will print out a physical check and mail it to us on your behalf. This allows you to have confirmation that you sent the payment, and the whole process is completed online, usually free of charge (check with your bank for details). Here is what you will need to set us up as a payee:

Pending Charges & Payment Plans: Students who are unable to pay in full by the enrollment deadline, can request to be placed on a payment plan. Although your account will reflect a $0.00 amount for the first two weeks before school begins, down payments (Portland Campus) and first payments (Online Campus) are due on the enrollment deadline dates as scheduled. Your charges will remain “pending” until the day after the add/drop deadline of each term; we do this to give our students plenty of time to make changes to their registration.
