The Journey of A Life Well Lived

[vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″]Our Dean of Women Professor Glenda Malmin preached a powerful sermon at City Bible Church on motherhood.  She used the life of Mary’s experience as the mother of Jesus to remind us that our lives are not our own and our children are a gift to be given back to the Father. Watch here if you did not have a chance to hear it live.

On May 11th, Portland Bible College celebrated our 51st Commencement Ceremony. Students and faculty filled the stage together as 30 graduates received their Bachelor degrees, and 34 in the Associates programs. The evening was a wonderful celebration & commissioning, as we heard from President Marc Estes, student speakers, and honored our founder, Dick Iverson (1930-2018). You can experience and watch the service here.[vc_column_inner width=”1/3″]Boise Harvest Graduation
Boise Harvest College, an affiliate program of PBC, joined us for our commencement exercises by bringing seven of their students who had completed our online associate program. It was our honor to include them in our commencement. PBC loves supporting local churches who have the desire to train leaders in their church for their church. Congratulations to the graduates! We are praying for rich fruit in your lives.
[vc_column_inner width=”1/3″]Where are they now?
After graduation is complete where do our students go? Kandice Jameson could not stay away from PBC. Two weeks after graduation she became the newest member of the PBC staff. Jacob Miller, a great pastoral presence on campus, has been hired as the youth pastor at Scappoose Foursquare!  Jenny Sie, an excellent student at PBC, is continuing her studies in Concordia’s graduate program to pursue a degree in Educational Administration. We are so proud of these students!
