ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR

Description: Administrates the admissions process for all Portland Bible College applicants and provides administrative support to the Registrar and Dean. The primary purpose is to counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the college and church, guiding them from initial application to enrollment and onboarding as active students. One-on-one admissions counseling to diverse populations both domestic and international is an important responsibility of this position. Admissions counseling occurs primarily by in-person appointments, phone calls, emails, and texts. This also includes coordinating relevant communication between appropriate college staff and applicant students regarding program specifics and transfer standing. The secondary purpose is to provide administrative support to the Registrar and Dean of the college. This encompasses a wide range of duties as needed. Applicants must not be currently enrolled in PBC, due to confidentiality purposes.

ONLINE CURRICULUM DEVELOPER

Description: Provides technical assistance, creativity, and innovation to help prepare or improve upon current course materials for use in the PBC Online Program. Theological training required; preference toward Bachelor’s degree in theology from Portland Bible College. Requires good knowledge and use of office, computer and communication equipment and excellent understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Applicant must be extremely detailed oriented; able to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects; have ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to work well within a team environment; be themselves and excellent student as well as ability to quickly learn new educational software tools.
Previous project management, administration and teaching experience is preferred. Previous experience or training on Mannahouse education philosophy and knowledge of PBC’s mission and good knowledge of Scripture is essential

SPANISH CURRICULUM DEVELOPER

Description: To produce lecture packages for use in the PBC Spanish Online Program and provide technical support for the development of theological course materials in Spanish. Requires good knowledge and use of office, computer and communication equipment and excellent understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint. Applicant must be extremely detailed oriented; able to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects; have ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in both English and Spanish; native exposure to mainstream Hispanic culture is highly desirable; ability to work well within a team environment; as well as ability to quickly learn new educational software tools. Previous project management, administration and some teaching experience is preferred. Previous experience or training on Mannahouse education philosophy and knowledge of PBC’s mission and good knowledge of Scripture is essential.

KITCHEN WORKER

Description: PBC has a job opening for Kitchen Worker. Performs general food service support for staff and students at Portland Bible College; does related work as needed. Assists head cook with food preparation and tasks as needed.

  • Hours: Part-Time (30 hours/week) 6am – 12:30pm. August – December, January – May
