One of the greatest advantages of PBC is its connection to Mannahouse. This provides students with a wide variety of “hands-on” ministry opportunities. The ministry staff of Mannahouse has a great heart to see PBC students equipped and released in ministry. With five locations spread out in the metropolitan area and multiple weekday and weekend services, there are plenty of places to get involved.
Mannahouse
We believe church ought to be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God and get involved in what He’s doing. At Mannahouse you’ll enjoy dynamic worship, prayer and a practical, down-to-earth message that will impact your life. You will leave feeling different from when you came in. Church really ought to be fun and life-changing – and the beautiful thing about Jesus is that He never leaves us the same. Having spent time in the presence of the Lord, you will feel different. Mannahouse Youth
Mannahouse Youth, (formerly Generation Unleashed) is the youth ministry of our church. Fueled by a passion to lift up and make the name of God great, MY’s number one priority is a commitment to building God’s house and serving the church. The ONE annual conference takes place in Late January & Early February. Youth from around the world gather for two weekends in a row to experience the presence of God through worship, prayer and the word. PBC students are integral to the success of the ONE Conference. Classes are canceled so students can participate in this event over two weekends hosting several thousand young people every year. Through leading worship, hospitality, administration and assisting leaders, PBC students gain valuable ministry experience during this event. Check it out at – ONEYouthConference.com
Practicum and Apprenticeship Credit
We understand that many students come from smaller churches and it can be intimidating to walk into a big church that you’ve never been to before. However, our PBC Students soon find Mannahouse to be their home away from home. Students that do not come from local churches in the Portland area, will be incorporated into different ministries in order to gain Practicum and Apprenticeship credit.
