The Portland Bible College men’s basketball season came to a close at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC with a loss to Dallas Christian College. They finished the regular season at 12-13, and took 1st place in the Pacific Christian Athletic Conference with a 6-2 conference record. It was a remarkable turnaround season for the Wildcats in a couple ways, as they finished last season 4-24, then started this season 1-9, and went 11-4 thereafter. Their biggest win came against a ranked College of Idaho (NAIA D-2) team that went 30-7 on the year and finished in the top 4 of their national tournament.
The Wildcats will graduate only one senior this year so we have high hopes for next year’s season, because a large number of key contributors are returning and we have some committed recruits already.
