Graduation Ceremony
SATURDAY, May 17th at 2:00-3:00 PM
Portland Bible College, Mannahouse Portland Campus Sanctuary

All are welcome – No tickets are needed.
Please join us for a reception in the lobby immediately following the ceremony. Refreshments and photo booths will be available to celebrate our graduates.

Online Graduates, we will have your regalia pressed and ready for you. Please meet with Darren or Ariana at 12:30pm in the PBC Conference Room (lower level of the PBC Admin Building) to dress in your regalia. We will then walk to the chapel for your Graduation Photo Shoot. After which, you will join the rest of the graduates in the Ivy Hall (directly across the lobby from the sanctuary).
PDX Graduates, join us at 1:15pm wearing your regalia in the Ivy Hall. We will give you instructions for stage entry and exit, and then arrange you in the processional line order. Processional begins promptly at 2pm)

Graduation Petition
If you are expecting to graduate with your Associate or Bachelor degree, you must submit the Graduation Petition Form by January 15th of your graduating semester. A $125 graduation fee will be applied to the accounts of both live and online students. This fee includes the cost of one diploma and cover, regalia, and preparations for the graduation ceremony. This fee is charged if you participate in person or receive your degree by mail. Each additional diploma requested on the Graduation Petition will add a $55 fee to your account.
If your semester balance is paid in full (including the Graduation Fee), you will receive your diploma at the ceremony. If you are not able to attend Graduation, and your balance is paid in full, you may pick up your diploma at the Registrar’s office. If you live out of town, contact the Registrar to have your diploma mailed to you.
Requirements for an Associate Degree
- All associate degrees require a minimum of 64 credits.
- Students must complete all the required courses for their emphasis
- A minimum of 32 credits must be taken live at Portland Bible College.
- The student must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA (“C” average) for courses completed at Portland Bible College.
- No outstanding financial obligations.
Requirements for a Bachelor Degree
- All bachelor degrees require a minimum of 128 credits.
- Students must complete all the required courses for their emphasis.
- A minimum of 64 credits must be taken live at Portland Bible College.
- The student must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA (“C” average) for courses completed at Portland Bible College.
- No outstanding financial obligations.
Graduation Honors and Awards
Full-time students who earn a grade point average of 3.50 or higher attain superior academic standing. Honors in the commencement program and for commencement ceremony purposes are computed on grades through the fall semester for spring graduation. Honors on the final record and transcript are based on all finalized grades received. All graduating seniors receive an Archer’s Arrow. A few graduating Seniors are selected for the Founders and Kevin Conner awards.
