Mail Services

All students, residents and commuters, are assigned a mailbox when they enroll. New on-campus students will receive their mailbox key when they arrive on move-in day. Commuting students will be notified when their key is ready for pickup at the Student Resource Center.

There is no mailbox cost unless the key needs to be replaced. The assigned mailbox will remain the same for each consecutive semester the student is enrolled. An address change form must be completed by every student at the end of each school year and at the time of graduation or withdrawal from the college to allow for forwarding of mail.

Incoming Mail

Packages and mail are received from all carriers and distributed Monday through Friday. There is no delivery on Saturday or Sunday.

On-campus student addresses should appear as follows:

Name of Student
Portland Bible College
9150 NE Fremont Street, Box #
Portland, OR 97220

WARNING: Failure to include your mailbox number in all incoming mail or internal mail (such as assignments), may result in severe delays or returning of your mail.

Outgoing Mail

A letter drop-off box is located near the rear entrance of the Administration Building. Outgoing packages can be processed at the Student Resource Center.

Campus mail from PBC and Mannahouse offices, faculty, or students is delivered Monday – Friday. Internal campus mail requires no postage but does require the sender’s name and recipient’s name and mailbox number. Campus mail can be dropped off in the drop box next to the student mailboxes. For security reasons do not drop mail containing cash or items of value in the box.

Summer and Winter Break

Mail will be held through all breaks including the summer break unless a forwarding address is left with the office.

Non-returning Students

Mail will be forwarded for 30 days if a forwarding address form is filled out. After 30 days all mail will be returned to the sender.

On-campus students who have utilized their mailboxes as their primary mailing address, must file a change of address form with the United States Postal Service. This can be done online through the USPS portal: https://moversguide.usps.com. Failure to complete the form will result in mail being returned to sender.

Replacement Keys

Key replacement orders may be placed in the bookstore by logging in to Populi under the replacement items tab. A $10.00 fee for mailboxes and a $50.00 fee for rooms is due and payable on purchase. Click here to request a replacement.
