Logos Bible Software

Many of the books required for PBC classes are available in PBC’s Custom Logos Library. Contact for more information or visit our bookstore.

In order to receive your books in time for the start of your classes, please have your books ordered no later than one week before the start of classes. Books ordered after that date may no longer be able to be added directly to student accounts.

Logos Bible Software

PBC is proud to be able to work with Logos Bible Software to create a unique PBC Custom Library. This custom library, which includes the newest version of Logos, contains more than $3,200 worth of resources and includes many of the titles that are required for PBC classes.

What is Logos?

Logos is a computer software that gives you hundreds of books in an electronic searchable format with the ability to purchase thousands more. Resources include Bible dictionaries, lexicons, handbooks, commentaries, as well as several books currently required for PBC courses. Logos equips you with easy-to-use research tools and it is immensely helpful with Greek & Hebrew word studies.

Who gets a discount?

If you are a degree seeking PBC student, you automatically qualify for the PBC Custom Library discount.

How much will it cost?

PBC’s Custom Library includes the Logos 9 Starter Package as well as several books that are required for your classes. The total cost of the library is $210. All students enrolled in the Intro to Bible Study class will automatically receive a charge for that amount to your school bill. If you enroll in Logos’ Academic Discount Program, you will also receive a 30-50% discount on any library or book available through Logos as long as you are a student at PBC.

What is needed to run Logos?

Logos works for both PC and Mac. There are limited apps for Apple and Android devices as well as for any browser. You can find the system requirements for running the full software here.

How can I get it?

You can purchase the PBC Custom Library from the PBC bookstore. Please contact if you have any questions or concerns.

Mail Services

All students, residents and commuters, are assigned a mailbox when they enroll. New on-campus students will receive their mailbox key when they arrive on move-in day. Commuting students will be notified when their key is ready for pickup at the Student Resource Center.

There is no mailbox cost unless the key needs to be replaced. The assigned mailbox will remain the same for each consecutive semester the student is enrolled. An address change form must be completed by every student at the end of each school year and at the time of graduation or withdrawal from the college to allow for forwarding of mail.

Incoming Mail

Packages and mail are received from all carriers and distributed Monday through Friday. There is no delivery on Saturday or Sunday.

On-campus student addresses should appear as follows:

Name of Student
Portland Bible College
9150 NE Fremont Street, Box #
Portland, OR 97220

WARNING: Failure to include your mailbox number in all incoming mail or internal mail (such as assignments), may result in severe delays or returning of your mail.

Outgoing Mail

A letter drop-off box is located near the rear entrance of the Administration Building. Outgoing packages can be processed at the Student Resource Center.

Campus mail from PBC and Mannahouse offices, faculty, or students is delivered Monday – Friday. Internal campus mail requires no postage but does require the sender’s name and recipient’s name and mailbox number. Campus mail can be dropped off in the drop box next to the student mailboxes. For security reasons do not drop mail containing cash or items of value in the box.

Summer and Winter Break

Mail will be held through all breaks including the summer break unless a forwarding address is left with the office.

Non-returning Students

Mail will be forwarded for 30 days if a forwarding address form is filled out. After 30 days all mail will be returned to the sender.

On-campus students who have utilized their mailboxes as their primary mailing address, must file a change of address form with the United States Postal Service. This can be done online through the USPS portal: Failure to complete the form will result in mail being returned to sender.

Replacement Keys

Key replacement orders may be placed in the bookstore by logging in to Populi under the replacement items tab. A $10.00 fee for mailboxes and a $50.00 fee for rooms is due and payable on purchase. Click here to request a replacement.
