PBC Theological Research Library

The Portland Bible College Library is a theological research library. Students have the opportunity to use more than 16,000 resources, old and new, filled with information to help our students be as successful as possible.

Logos Bible Software Online

PBC is proud to be able to work with Logos Bible Software to create a unique PBC Custom Library. This custom library, which includes the newest version of Logos, contains more than $3,200 worth of resources and includes many of the titles that are required for PBC classes. Login with your student Logos account or create a free account to access basic Logos resources!

Theological Journals

Theological Journals are a tremendous resource for Biblical studies. But copies of Theological Journals are difficult to find, impossible to buy, and even if you are fortunate enough to have a library of journals in print form, they take up lots of shelf space. Plus, finding the topic or Bible passage you are interested in is difficult, to say the least. Use NET Bible in the Student Resource Center to search through hundreds of peer-reviewed theological journals. You can search by word, topic, or passage. Ask the SRC staff to log you in so that you can search them.

Precept Austin

This website contains full Biblical book studies, commentaries, maps, timelines and much more from a wide variety of sources. It is an excellent start to any book or passage study.

Blue Letter Bible

Blue Letter Bible has always endeavored to not just provide free Bible study resources but make them available to everyone. This has led to a fervor to provide resources and tools in other languages to reach a global audience. That is why we are so excited to announce several newly released international language resources from multiple different authors.

OpenLibrary

The Internet Archive and participating libraries have selected digitized books from their collections that are available to be borrowed by one patron at a time from anywhere in the world for free. These books are available in BookReader format and usually in PDF and ePub formats. You can choose which format you prefer.
