Every Spring, Portland Bible College partners with Mannahouse Church to host two-day ministry equipping intensives at the Portland Campus.
Summit attenders choose between six different ministry tracks where they can earn one college credit.

Regular Intensive Price: $125 + $75 for credit
Full-Time PBC Students (12-17 credits): Credit is included in semester tuition. Intensive course will incur $45 fee for notebook and lunch both days.
Part-Time PBC Students (1-11 credits): Price of $175 includes the credit, course notebook, and lunch on both days. *Students can opt to not take for credit.

Welcome special Guest Speaker Dave Ferguson!

During the Summit General Sessions, we will welcome Pastor Dave Ferguson. Dave Ferguson is an award-winning author of the book Hero Maker and lead pastor of Chicago’s Community Christian Church, a missional multi-site community considered one of the most influential churches in America. He is also the visionary for the international church-planting movement NewThing and president of the Exponential Conference.

Choice of one track per registrant

Introduction to Church Planting

This track helps leaders develop a theological church planting framework, assemble a strategic plan, and get started on a clear pathway for church planting. Ideal for those who want to church plant or are thinking to join a church plant.

Introduction to Strategic Missions

This track will assist leaders, current or future missionaries, and those who want to be involved with missions by developing a biblical understanding, providing practical strategies and plans, and defining effective ways of supporting missions in your church.

Worship Ministry

This track presents practical tools to raise up worship teams and explore creative ways to build and maintain a healthy, thriving worship culture in your church.



Developing Marketplace Leaders

In this track, students will discover the theology of business and the purpose of wealth, gain an understanding of work as worship, learn to train and coach marketplace leaders, and grasp what it means to be set apart for increase.

Ecclesiology: Why Church Matters More Than Ever

This track provides fresh clarity on the biblical vision of the church, giving us the confidence to lead and build consistently with scripture.

Introduction to Prayer Ministry

This experience provides practical tools for creating a culture of prayer and starting a prayer ministry in your church.


Intensive Credit Policies

Students must choose to add or drop the course for credit prior to the start of the two-day intensives. Credit cannot be selected after the fact. Students that are a ‘no-show’ to the classes and/or do not submit assignments will receive a Withdraw Fail on their Portland Bible College transcript and will still be responsible for all costs associated with the course.
